Iron Mountain Transportation Operations Supervisor in Port Ewen, New York

*Supervisor supervises day-to-day transportation workforce.

*Manage all aspects of transportation discipline to include: safety and security compliances/ route structures and development/ personnel scheduling/ work load assignments/ cost control and metric driven performance.

*Oversees all daily operations of the transportation team in the most cost-effective and customer-satisfying manner.

*Coach a high-performance team and adhere to Iron Mountain regulations.

*Provide daily oversight of transportation operations to ensure high levels of service, production and quality metrics are achieved.

*Plan staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage.

*Communicate effectively with the frontline regarding change procedures, initiatives and program roll outs.

  • Execute daily reporting mechanisms that provide critical data points to business trends and overall operational performance.

Responsible for: training/ recruiting,/counseling/ coaching/ disciplinary action and writing reviews.

*Process and approve payroll, time off requests and exceptions.


*Minimum of two years’ supervisory experience in a Transportation, operations or other service-related environment

*Experience with - Transportation Administration / Maintenance - Manage DVIR / BDIR process. DOT / IFTA reporting and requirements.

*Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record; able to pass pre-employment drug testing and a background investigation as conditions of employment

*Ability to lifet 40 to 50 pounds.

*Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)

*High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
