Iron Mountain, a leading provider of storage and information management services, is seeking a Records Management Logistics Driver to join our team. As a Records Management Logistics Driver, you will play a critical role in our organization, responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of our clients; sensitive documents and information from their site to our Iron Mountain locations. This can be physically demanding as it would involve moving files and boxes between client sites and the company vehicle.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Drive vehicle on scheduled route(s) to deliver and collect data in agreement with customer requirements to make service delivery times.

  • Loading and unloading of data onto vehicles at depot safely and accurately.

  • Manual lifting / carrying of data from vehicle to customers specified “pick up” point safely and accurately.

  • Full adherence to Iron Mountain “Drivers Code Of conduct.”

  • Vehicle care: pre and post – trip inspection, fuelling and cleaning, maintain vehicle cleanliness inside and out; report deficient conditions; drive safely while obeying all traffic laws.

  • Ensure that all Iron Mountain paperwork is fully completed, including obtaining appropriate customer signatures where required, completing and signing daily logs – debrief sheets, completing vehicle inspection checklists, reporting of parking fines.

  • Follow company policy and procedures for Health & Safety, security and accident prevention at all times.

  • Ensure data is secured and transited in a safe manner, and the vehicle or data is not compromised at any time.

ABOUT YOU

  • Good driving skills required. Must have excellent driving record and hold a current, clean driving licence for at least 2 years.

  • Strong communication skills – including verbal, written and professional self presentation.

  • Previous driving / logistics experience.

  • Have thorough understanding of relevant driving regulations.

CAPABILITIES

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to politely convey information to customers.

  • Ability to remain composed even while under pressure.

  • Ability to work with minimum direct supervision, self starter and highly motivated.

  • Methodical and reliable.

  • Understand Iron Mountains Core Values and be able to demonstrate these in your role.

  • Be able to adapt to workflows and use Information Technology to confirm your work for the day.
