Our Route Drivers Secure and Shred are the public face of Iron Mountain, trusted to transport and handle client materials and engage with clients and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner. Drivers are responsible for driving a company vehicle to transport materials from client and Iron Mountain locations; loading and unloading through a variety of mechanisms; using wireless scanning technology; preparing paperwork and performing daily vehicle maintenance to ensure it functions efficiently. This position calls for a significant amount of physical strength and stamina. We pay by the hour, not the mile.

PAY: $21.00 per hour (paid biweekly)

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday FULL TIME (Expect OT)

HOURS: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM(Expect OT)

LOCATION: 624 NE Jones Industrial Drive, Lees Summit M0 64064

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive an automatic Box Truck/ Cargo Van to pick up and deliver confidential documents from various clients

  • Handle all physical requirements for loading, transporting and driving without assistance

  • Make an average of 22-30 stops a day, heavy customer interaction

  • Prepare accurate paperwork and records

  • Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry wheeled, plastic bins over, up and down inclines, stairs, changes in walking surfaces and elevations

  • Lift at least 70 lbs./ haul up to 100 lbs.

  • Walk, stand and sit for extended periods of time

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Have high school diploma or equivalent (GED)

  • Must have B class license and 1 year of experience

  • Be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license

  • Pass a background check and a DOT physical/drug test

  • Have a clean driving records for the last 3 years

  • Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
